This week is exciting! The Old Testament speaks of Israel, the 12 Tribes, and the Covenant Path this week. The stories and doctrine speak to us, the living Latter-day Saints, as much as any other part of the Old Testament. The stories this week hold the very teachings President Nelson has been anxiously teaching us lately.

What is going on in the Old Testament this week!? In this video, I do a summary of the main events to help keep the story straight, I share some doctrinal insights, a story from Church history, and I reveal the four heroes of the Old Testament who we have met so far.

The story of Abraham and Isaac is well known. But, what is the Lord trying to teach us today about a story that happened thousands of years ago? In this week’s episode I explore ancient and modern scriptures to show exactly why this story is so important to understand! The Lord wishes to bless us and take us through our trials, hardships, heartaches, doubts, concerns, worries, and stresses.
