The Kirtland Temple is dedicated! After years of sacrifice, hope, and faith, the Saints attend the dedicatory services of the Kirtland Temple where many witness divine manifestations throughout the service. Later, as recorded in Section 110, the Savior appears and accepts the dedication. Three ancient apostles also appear to confer the Keys of the Priesthood. Now, all of Heavenly Father’s children can be recipients of his eternal blessings.

This week in Beyond Come Follow Me, I tell the story of Zion’s Camp. Only with Heaven’s help, and many miracles, was this band of rescuers even able to make the journey to Missouri. Once there, the Lord taught them lessons that are as applicable, if not more so, today then even to those Saints in the 1830’s. This is Part 2 of the Missouri story.
