What Joseph’s Vision of Heaven Teaches Us About Personal Revelation

August 4, 2020 by tompettit 4 Comments

President Nelson has said, “In coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost.”.

Joseph’s vision of Heaven, as recorded in Section 76 of the Doctrine and Covenants, is a road map of how we can receive personal revelation.

Thank you for sharing these stories. We learned a lot. Also because we are back EAST this works out well for us to listen and watch at the time that works best for us.

Thanks for this wonderful video Tom.
Living out here in the outback of Western Australia being a pioneer in my family as the first in my family to join the church and the terrible opposition and persecution I faced – then my children faced it was absolutely necessary to hold on to the scriptures with ALL my might, pray, study, seek and keep wading through the oppression-however looking back I know that I did grow in the principle of receiving revelation.
It’s been hard and uphill and my deepest trials and tribulations have come from within the church from those whom I thought I could trust, but strength comes and we have much to face just ahead of us, President Nelson has recently stated that it has NEVER been MORE IMPERATIVE to know HOW the spirit speaks to you than it us than RIGHT NOW, so I feel we can say that the moment he has warned of has already arrived
