After Hyrum was murdered in Carthage Jail, his widow gave their some some profound council.  Their son, Joseph F. Smith, followed the council of his mother every day for the rest of his life.  That council, is as applicable to all of us today as it was then to a grieving six year old boy in Nauvoo.
