Do we find Satan repulsive? Are we like the father of King Lamoni who while hearing of the great Plan of Happiness stated, “What shall I do that I many have this eternal life…having this wicked spirit rooted out of my breast…that I may be filled with JOY? I will give up all that I possess, yea, I will forsake my kingdom, that I may receive this great JOY.”
We are in a daily fight. But it is a good fight. It is a winning fight! It is a fight worth having so we can obtain the promised JOY each day we put up that fight. And each day we fight for that JOY, the adversary becomes weaker and weaker, until finally the fight becomes easier and easier. Don’t give up. Don’t give in. Successfully repulse the enemy of JOY.
